LONDON ALTERNATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY COLLECTIVE – THE SUSTAINABLE DARKROOM

From Monday, July 6 –  Friday, July 31 I participated in a digital residency with Guest Projects. The project was run by London Alternative Photography Project as part of their sustainable darkroom initiative. During the residency I further experimented with developing 16mm and still black and white film using Nettles, Seaweed and Sea Kale. About The London Alternative Photography Project and The Sustainable Darkroom

The Sustainable Darkroom is an artist-run research, training and mutual learning programme, to equip cultural practitioners with new skills and knowledge to develop an environmentally friendly photographic darkroom practice.

Taking its form in publications, residencies, workshops, talks, symposiums and training sessions. The group intends to lead a movement in challenging the environmental impact and sustainability of darkroom practice
