Seaweed Programme

‘Seaweed stories’ is a project that explores the relationship between people, seaweed and landscape, in the past, present and future. The project involved the making of a moving image work ‘Seaweed’ filmed this summer in the North of Scotland. As part of the making of this artwork, the project also included talks and workshops that look at the cultural and environmental connections to seaweed in the United Kingdom.

Throughout November 2021, the project delivered a series of free online & in-person workshops, talks and work in progress screening, many of the events were recorded and are accessible via linktree (click image to left)

This project has been kindly funded by Arts Council England, Cumbria Community Fund and Film London Artist Moving Image Network.
