Walking the Dog Project
Between 1976 and 1979 Keith Arnatt (1930 -2008) took over 200 hundred photographs of people with their dogs resulting in a collection of 40 final images. He selected them based on a number on criteria: the dog and the owner must be looking at the camera & that no other people were shown in the frame.
Using the same parameters and format (6 X 6 camera, a 50mm lens and black an white film) I attempted to re-create this project.
In addition to this, I invited the subject to take a photograph of me with their dog.
