Seaweed Stories

‘Seaweed stories’ explored the relationship between people, seaweed and landscape, in the past, present and future. The project was created by Cumbrian artist Julia Parks and included talks, workshops and a moving image artwork that looked at the cultural and environmental connections to seaweed in the Scotland and wider United Kingdom.

Throughout November 2021, the project delivered a series of free online & in-person workshops, talks and work in progress screening.

This project was kindly funded by Arts Council England, Cumbria Community Fund and Film London Artist Moving Image Network (FLAMIN)
